Advocating for Ethical Professionals and Practices

Listen to our new podcast here!

This week’s podcast focuses on why we created the National Association of Senior Advocates (NAOSA) and why we are passionate about NAOSA’s goal and mission. Life experiences and the desire to make a positive impact encouraged our Founder, Anthony Cinotti, to create the organization, which advocates for older Americans and the ethical professionals who serve them.

NA-of-SA-logo-300-pxNAOSA acts as a solution to unethical business practices for all consumers, with a special focus on older Americans. The majority of unethical activity against consumers is legal and therefore the businesses that act in this manner face little repercussions. In many cases, even if the fraudulent incidents are illegal, the presence of embarrassment prevents individuals from reporting the event. NAOSA’s mission is two-fold: Advocate for Older Americans and the Ethical Professionals who serve them. NAOSA strives to educate all consumers on the best and most ethical practices within a variety of industries as well as introduce them to ethical professionals who do things the right way.

As a NAOSA member, professionals receive valuable benefits such as:
1. Utilizing NAOSA Marketing to Gain Higher Visibility on Facebook, LinkedIn and other Social Media
2. Receiving Leads via the NAOSA website, member referrals and networking events
3. The ability to gain Instant Credibility and Stand Out from the Competition through your affiliation with a senior advocacy organization and Affiliation with the NAOSA Advisory Board and like-mined professionals
4. Stopping Fraud
5. The ability to advocate on behalf of your clients and loved ones who have been wronged.

After 3 years of extensive research and collaboration between industry professionals, we have developed our Gold Standards of Professional Practice™ which distinguishes ethical practices from unethical ones. Experts in respective industries have collaborated to create our Gold Standards of Professional Practice™ to assist consumers as they navigate various industries.
